Since 1945, a Scientific Society for the Vacuum Community… Stimulation of collaboration in the fields of vacuum science, techniques and applications (thin films, plasma, leak detection, vacuum, surface science… For over 50 years, SFV has been offering formal education in the field of vacuum technology and its applications. SFV organize large conference, exhibitions and congresses. It also provides consulting and technical expertise and publishes technical books.
SFV is member of the International Union for Vacuum Science, Technique and Applications (IUVSTA), the French Federation of Materials (FFM) and the French Federation of Scientific Societies (F2S).
